Difficult conversation with your staff members can be one of the most stressful aspects of the work. In this Community of Practice we will explore strategies for preventing and addressing challenges with staff members by supporting communication. We will address topics that include effective policy creation and communication of program policies, internal protocols, and creating a cooperative program climate.

Understand the steps in effective creation, communication, and enforcement of program policy
Know strategies for remaining calm during difficult conversation and understanding the the adult learner through conflict
Reflect on strategies for creating a cooperative program climate.
