Overview
This full-day training program will provide family childcare professionals with important skills and knowledge to excel in their role as educators. The Professional Learning Community (PLC) consists of three key modules: which includes: "Orientation to the Role of the Educator," "Creative Arts for Young Children," and "Technology Training." Participants will engage in interactive sessions, discussions, and hands-on activities to enhance their ability and knowledge in providing quality early education and care.
Objective

By the end of this full-day training program, family childcare providers will be better prepared to fulfill their roles as educators, inspire creativity through the arts with safety and nurturing environments, along with the use of technology as a valuable educational resource.  Participants will learn about opportunities for follow up coaching that can be provided through the StrongStart PDCs.
