Early Childhood Educators Scholarship Program

The ECE Scholarship program opened April 1st and has been extended to run through October 1st 2022.

The scholarship assists early educators and after school/out of school time professionals in pursuing certificate, associate’s, bachelor’s and newly, master’s degree programs, offered by participating Massachusetts colleges or universities.

Scholarship applicants may receive financial assistance up to 11 credits per semester in the fall, spring, and summer when enrolled in an Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Family Studies, Child Care Administration program, or in areas which directly name early child development and its specific areas of inquiry.

To be eligible, you must:

  • be a resident of Massachusetts,
  • work a minimum of 20 hours per week in an EEC-licensed or licensed-exempt program, and
  • have been employed for a minimum of six months.
