Overview

New to the field of early childhood education? Join us for an 8 week exploration of the following topics:

  • EEC regulations
  • Child Development
  • Teacher – Child Interactions
  • Classroom Organization
  • Schedules/Routines and Transitions
  • Effective Communication
  • PSKG and IT Guidelines
  • Best Practices

This opportunity will provide a safe place to ask questions, seek support, collaborate and problem solve together.

Objective

After participating in this series, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify and utilize resources and support systems to improve practice.
  2. Collaborate and share ideas within the Affinity Group, thereby forming a sense of community.
  3. Increase competencies in key areas of early education and care.
Additional Information

Participants are expected to attend all sessions of an event in order to receive credit for attending. Participants will be marked as “completed” in the LMS if they attend no less than 85% of the total sessions for the event (see table below) and complete all necessary coursework.
