Overview
Determining eligibility for Child Care Financial Assistance is a critical responsibility of an EEC contracted provider. Part 1 of the Financial Assistance training provides the participant with an overview of EEC’s Child Care Financial Assistance policies and the expectations of the provider while supporting families through that journey.
Objective
Participants will learn about:
The CCDF regulations that govern EEC policies and regulations
Family access to contracted seats, including the waitlist and provider outreach
How to determine a family’s eligibility for the program
How to authorize, reauthorize, and collect the required documentation
Contract management, utilization and transitions
Additional Information
Organizations must send staff in the following required contract roles: Organization Leader, CCFA Administrative Staff (max. 3 people/org.) EEC requires those who attend to ensure the information and content learned is shared across their organization.
This is Part 1 of 2. Please send the same staff to Part 1 & Part 2 for the Financial Assistance training.
Organizations who hold contracts across multiple regions have some flexibility and are encouraged to send regional representation.
