THIS VERSION OF TRANSPORTING CHILDEN SAFELY IS AN ANNUAL REQUIREMENT FOR DRIVERS AND MONITORS ONLY!
As a driver, monitor, or program leader, you need to be aware of the safety precautions you need to follow, to ensure the safety of the children entrusted to you. In this course, you’ll learn about the importance of following child safety practices whenever transporting children, as well as how to protect children in and around vehicles. These safety practices are required, and it’s crucial that you understand them fully. You could save a child’s life.

Objective

Upon completing this module, you’ll be able to:

Describe the potential risk factors involved in transporting children
Identify EEC regulations, policies, and procedures for safely transporting children
Incorporate EEC regulations into your program's transportation plans and apply them when transporting children
