Overview
Go beyond the sand and water table and discover meaningful sensory experiences for children both indoors and outdoors. In this course, participants will explore current research and guidelines while learning practical ways to expand sensory opportunities in their classrooms and outdoor spaces.
Objective
  • Explore research and guidelines to understand the benefits of sensory experiences for young children.
  • Develop lessons and activities that support diverse learners.
  • Discover new ways to incorporate rich sensory experiences into outdoor environments.
