Overview
Children are born with a natural curiosity and interest to learn. Providing quality STEM opportunities in early childhood programs fosters children’s natural inquisitions and encourages them to make discoveries about themselves and the world around them! In this series educators will explore ideas and strategies to incorporate STEM learning within their programs and throughout their day. Educators will also consider their role as an educator and how interactions with children can enhance their interest and encourage a life-long enthusiasm for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.


Objective
Learning Objectives:
1. Identify developmentally appropriate strategies to incorporate STEM opportunities consistently throughout your program.
2. Reflect and build upon your role as an educator and the impact you have on children’s excitement for learning.
3. Examine resources that support connecting STEM learning from your program to the child’s home.

In order to receive training credit you must attend all sessions.
