The contracted provider Core Service training series kicks off with, Principles of Engagement, exploring the Family Engagement Framework and working with EEC collaboratively. The first part of the session, Family Engagement: The Value of Relationships, emphasizes relationship building when engaging families and other stakeholders. We’ll explore best practices outlined in the Massachusetts Family Engagement Framework, and guide participants to develop a plan that strengthens how they deliver contract services. The second part of the session will discuss delivering services with a customer service and whole family lens, how EEC will work in partnership with programs and developing a collaborative contract monitoring approach. 

Participants will understand and learn: 

• the value of relationship building
• the Guiding Principles and Core Elements of the Family Engagement Framework 
• how to develop a plan to strengthen family engagement in their organization 
• how to provide inclusive, accessible and culturally mindful services 
• how EEC will work in partnership with programs  
• EEC’s expectations for collaborative contract management  

Organizations must send staff in the following required contract roles: Organizational Leader, Family-Focused Staff (max. 3 people/org.) EEC requires those who attend to ensure the information and content learned is shared across their organization. 

Organizations who hold contracts across multiple regions have some flexibility and are encouraged to send regional representation.
