Overview
In this Core Service training, Program Administration, providers will learn about staffing expectations, quality child care services, behavioral health supports, and continuous quality improvement. Supporting access to high quality child care services is a key responsibility of EEC contracted providers. Through presentations and small group discussion we will explore approaches to supporting quality, discuss best practices, review child care services expectations and share opportunities for further collaboration. A review of upcoming required training on leading continuous quality improvement and other support opportunities will be discussed.
Objective
Participants will:
Review child care services requirements, including required staffing and organizational capacity, continuous quality improvement, professional development planning, approaches to support social and emotional learning and trauma informed and responsive practice, and explore examples of application in programs
Review approach to supporting quality practices and program operations in early education, family child care, and out of school time setting
Share details about current practices, strengths, and opportunities for continued support and collaboration
Discuss EEC supports and next steps for training

Organizations must send staff in the following required contract roles: Organization Leader, Educational Leader (max. 2 people/org.) EEC requires those who attend to ensure the information and content learned is shared across their organization.
Organizations who hold contracts across multiple regions have some flexibility and are encouraged to send regional representation.
