** This Professional Development Opportunity will take place In-Person at the Early Learning Child Center located at 322 Maxfield Street, New Bedford MA on August 9 & August 23 from 6:00pm-8:00pm.

Gear up for an extraordinary start to the school year! As we approach the new school year, it's normal to have visions of dried-up markers, messy centers, and broken crayons dancing in our heads - especially in that first week. But fear not! By investing focused effort in the first six weeks of school, we can lay the foundation for a well-prepared classroom and preserve our sanity in the process.
Objective

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the connection between clear expectations and a well-run classroom
  • Explore guided discovery
  • Develop a plan for the new school year that will prepare the students for a successful school experience
