This session in the Contracted Provider Core Service training series, FCC Systems Training, is to discuss services, policies and processes that are specific to those organizations that operate Family Child Care Systems. EEC will discuss the key responsibilities of FCC systems, program quality practices, explore home visiting, professional development strategies, and best practices for coordination. This session will also review PFML processes, Approved Closures, and program integrity as it relates to FCC system responsibilities. Organizations will also be asked to share their agreements with educators who are part of their system.

Participants will: 

• Understand FCC system requirements  
• Review program quality practices and role of educational leader 
• Assess use of home visitors, partnerships and professional development  
• Understand the Paid Family Medical Leave (PFML) process 
• Understand the FCC system oversight for Approved Closures  
• Review attendance, billing and over enrollment processes 

Organizations must send staff in the following required contract roles: FCC System Leadership; Educational Leader, CCFA Administration (max. 3 people/org.) EEC requires those who attend to ensure the information and content learned is shared across their organization.

Organizations who hold contracts across multiple regions have some flexibility and are encouraged to send regional representation.
