Overview
Designed for those new to working with babies, this training provides content on the specifics of infant care. Interactive content will cover the requirements for safe sleep, responsive feeding, and effective diapering routines. The importance of high quality interactions with babies with be highlighted across all sessions. Supervisors are also encouraged to attend!
Objective
Participants will be able to:
1. List caregiving tasks in which interaction with the baby is essential
2. Describe a variety of ways to respond to the changing developmental needs of babies in regard to feeding.
3. Identify the procedure for safely warming a baby's bottle in order to prevent injury.
4. Demonstrate an understanding of each element of EEC's Safe Sleep for Infant's Policy.
5. Describe a variety of ways in which babies can be soothed.
Additional Information

Participants are expected to attend all sessions of an event in order to receive credit for attending. Participants will be marked as “completed” in the LMS if they attend no less than 85% of the total sessions for the event (see table below) and complete all necessary coursework.
