Working with Multi-Aged Groups

Course Number
eCUR04_EN
Overview
Children grow and learn naturally in multi-age groups. However, we recognize that it can be challenging to balance safety, active learning, and the particular needs of each child.  As an early care provider, this course will help you discover strategies and best practices for working with multi-age groups of children, and plan activities that meet the individual needs of each child in your care.   You may already be using some of the practices that we’re going to talk about, and we hope this course will be a good reminder to keep doing so. Other strategies might be new to you or might not be the way that you’re used to doing things. We encourage you to take notes along the way and be ready to try something new with your multi-age group.
