If you are entering the EEC System for the first time and have never been an educator (and have no PQR), use 3333 in the PQR number field when registering in StrongStart. You will take the Potential Provider Training (either Family Child Care or Group and School Age, depending on your intent).
Following the Potential Provider Training, if you decide to continue in your provider application process, you will need to contact your regional licensing office (instructions included in the training and a follow-up email). You will also need to register in the Professional Qualification registry (PQR), as it is a requirement for all educators in EEC-licensed or funded programs.
To do that, you will go to the EEC Single Sign In page and click on “Do not have an EEC SSI account? Enroll here”. Once you go through the steps of getting an EEC username, you will login to the system and click on the Professional Qualifications Registry And fill out the information (it will walk you through the steps). Once you submit your PQR information, you will become “active”, and it will assign you a unique ID number. Once you register in the PQR, you will need to update your number in your profile in StrongStart with your new number so it can connect the two accounts.
